Strategic Plan 2020-2025

This guiding document, Blueprint 2025, is provided as a high-level overview of the district’s plan. In addition, we have provided a breakdown of strategies by goal.

Due to the significant and ongoing impact of COVID-19, designation of benchmarked measurable outcomes for each year is difficult to establish at this time. The district will use the 2021 spring assessment results as a baseline for yearly targets based upon each goal.

School Parent Compact
Together we will develop an agreement that parents, students and teachers will develop to explain how all stakeholders can work together to ensure all students reach grade-level standards.

Parent Resource Center
Parent and Family Engagement

Our Parent Resource Center is located in room 122, directly across from the main office as you enter the school. Parents can also find important information in our front office.

We welcome you to visit Royal Elementary School any time if you need any resources, help, or support.

Terrell Lane believes that parental involvement means the participation for parents in regular two-way and meaningful communication about student academic learning and other school activities.

This ensures that parents are full partners in their child’s academic development and are included, as appropriate, in decision-making and on advisory committees to assist in the education of their child.

School Improvement Team
Ways to Contact the School

Terrell Lane Middle School is led by the School Improvement Team. Our SIT team includes representation from all grade levels, specialist areas, instructional assistants, and a parent representative.

The School Improvement Team meets bi-monthly. Priority indicators selected and voted on by the team guides team members in improving instruction for all students, supporting and creating structures that enable teachers to provide rigorous and standards based instruction., and establishes a leadership team that encourages communication and collaboration.

We set goals and have developed checkpoints to measure progress toward the goals as well as designating the person who will provide leadership for implementation of each goal. As goals are met, your School Improvement Team raises the bar for students and teachers.

We want to hear from you. If you have suggestions or if there is any part of this plan that you feel does not align with the students’ and schools’ goals for academic achievement, please email one of the following school representatives.
