Ms. Perry was born in Jersey City, NJ and moved to Robeson County when she was 4 years old. She lived in a rural area of Rowland, NC. Ms. Perry attended North Carolina Central University, NCCU, where she received a Bachelor degree in Business Education and Business Administration. She also attended NCCU for graduate school where she earned a Masters of Arts and Masters of Science in School and Agency Counseling. "I have been truly blessed to be at Terrell Lane for 14 years and going!! I love the staff and students that I have the joy to work with everyday!!!"

Amy Leonard
Ms. Leonard was born and raised in Franklin County, graduating from Bunn High School. She attended Peace College and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree and went on to NC State University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Upon graduating from college, Ms. Leonard went to work at the Franklin County Clerk of Court's office in Louisburg. She then decided she wanted to teach and began teaching Language Arts and Social Studies at Bunn Middle School. While teaching she went back to college at North Carolina Central University and received a Masters of LIbrary Science degree and became the libriarian at Franklinton Elementary School where she was for 13 years. This will be her 24th year in teaching.

Karen Westbrook
Mrs. Westbrook is a veteran teacher who has worked in both public, charter and independent school settings. She has a Master's degree in K-12 Literacy from UNC Chapel Hill and a Master's certification from Duke University in Academically and Intellectually Gifted Instruction. She has attended Columbia University Teachers College Reading and Writing Institutes, received leadership training from the Center for Creative Leadership and has engaged in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work with the Racial Equity Institute and Dr. Susan Perry. She lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband, son and daughter and two dogs. She is excited to be a part of the Terrell Lane Middle School family!

Brittany Hurley
Brittany Hurley is the math instructional coach at TLMS and BMS. She was born and raised in Franklin County. She earned a bachelors degree in mathematics at Meredith College and a masters degree in mathematics education from NC State University. She taught high school math at Bunn High School for 7 years and has served as the math instructional coach for 4 years. She really enjoys working with students and teachers to improve instruction for all in Franklin County Schools.

Pat Jones
Ms. Jones has lived in Franklin County all her life. She started out as substitute for Laurel Mill and TLMS, and was hired in 1998 as a media assistant. Ms. Jones was then hired in 2004 as Data Manager and became treasurer in 2016. She is currently in her 22nd year with TLMS.
