Social Studies

Mr. Collins was born and raised in Henderson, NC. He has a bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Language Arts and Social Studies Education from NC State University and also has a master’s degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction from North Carolina Central University. This fall will mark his 22nd year in education and his 18th year at Terrell Lane. Mr. Collins is looking forward to a wonderful school year this year.

Jackie Neal is a product of Franklin County Public Schools graduating from Bunn High School. She continued her education at NC State University until she could no longer afford to go. In 2012 she decided to complete her degree at Grand Canyon University graduating in 2017. From 1996-2018 she worked as an IA at Terrell Lane Middle school until being hired as a 6th grade Social Studies teacher. She worked 6th grade for one year before being moved to 8th grade Social Studies.
