A'Nya Sutton was born and raised in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Through the years she grew to love teaching and mentoring children and teaching them healthy ways to express their feelings. A'Nya became the first grandchild to graduate college when completing her education at North Carolina Central University. A'Nya is the owner of a food exploration page and blog where she explores different cultures through food. A'Nya realized her gift of connecting with young people which fueled her decision to enter the school system as a teacher.

Ms. McConnell graduated from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor’s in Sociology. She received my Masters’ in Math Education from East Carolina University and in Science Education from North Carolina State University. She has five wonderful children, 3 magnificent grandchildren and a doberman. She has been teaching for over 20 years.

Gina Kimmerly is a 8th grade math teacher at TLM. Gina Kimmerly grew up in Franklin County, graduating from Bunn High. Gina Kimmerly went to NCWC in Rocky Mount and graduated with an Accounting Degree. Gina Kimmerly is currently enrolled at ECU for teaching. Gina Kimmerly has been teaching since 2021, first at Louisburg High and now at TLM. Gina Kimmerly enjoys the country life of Franklin County where she raises Emus and other birds with her husband.
